Lets Gear Up

Had a pleasant experience buying a new helmet here. Staff was very helpful during the process and explained the details of each helmet patiently. One thing that I liked was they were not trying to stick their stock by making any false claims but genuinely tried to understand my usage and guided me along the process.

They know their stuff!!! Many products, many different features, yet they can explain every bit of every product with ease. Also biker talks just start off without you noticing :) WARNING: If you are fond of biker tales, be ready to spend atleast an hour or two here :D Because you can share all you want and they never get bored ;) Update: Moved to a much bigger space down the same lane. Many more newer better brands added to the already existing brands partnered from over 10 years!

I purchased an HJC CL‑17 helmet from Lets Gear Up in Bangalore quite some time ago. Unfortunately, I only realized much later—while riding in the rain—that the front ventilation switch was broken. Once the helmet got wet, the taped switch came off, exposing that it had been fixed with double‑sided tape. This was clearly a defective product, and selling such a helmet is unacceptable—especially since helmets are critical safety gear. I strongly suspect the helmet had already fallen or been damaged before being sold. A store should never try to pass off broken safety equipment as new. This experience shows a lack of integrity and concern for customer safety.
