VIBGYOR High Haralur receives mixed reviews from parents.
VIBGYOR Harlur offers a balanced, future-ready environment. The teachers are approachable and actually track each child’s progress, the curriculum blends academics with sports, arts and public-speaking, and the campuses are clean, safe and well-equipped (labs, library, activity rooms). Communication is regular through the parent app, and the school encourages participation in competitions and clubs, which builds confidence. Overall, a nurturing place that pushes children to do their best.
The school should prevent privileged children from bullying smaller or vulnerable children in the same class. There have been many reports of bullying incidents in this school, and as a mother, I am genuinely concerned. Schools must clearly understand what bullying is and how deeply it affects children, instead of protecting the wrongdoers. Every child is precious to their parents, and teachers/coordinators should show compassion in practice—not merely speak about it in speeches or drama club activities. Another important matter I would like to bring to your attention is the wide age range of students admitted to the same class. For example, within one class there are children born in January 2015, December 2015, and even in 2014. This creates a significant age and maturity gap among students. Some children are nearing their pre-teen or teenage years, while others are still very young and not developmentally at the same stage. Such a wide age difference can have a serious impact on smaller and more vulnerable children, especially in terms of behaviour, emotional safety, and confidence. If the school is unable to effectively manage behavioural issues arising from older children towards younger ones, then such mixed-age admissions should not be allowed in the same class. If admissions are given despite this gap, the school must take full responsibility for managing and safeguarding all children equally. Schooling is not only about academics; it plays a crucial role in the overall emotional, social, and psychological development of a child. While I have no concerns regarding the academic abilities of the younger children, they are particularly vulnerable in non-academic aspects. Older children should never be allowed to misuse their age, strength, or maturity in any manner. A serious incident also occurred in another school in 2025, which makes this issue even more alarming. In January 2025, 15-year-old Mihir Ahammed died by suicide in Kochi, Kerala, an incident his family and a subsequent police investigation have linked to severe and relentless bullying and ragging by schoolmates. Details of the Incident Mihir, a Class 9 student at Global Public School (GPS), allegedly endured brutal physical and verbal abuse from a group of students at school and on the school bus.
Best school with best services! They are very understanding and do the best for each child. Academics and extra curricular activities are given equal importance. Thank you Vibgyor high Haralur for always supporting us 😊
Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Child Safety, Harassment, and Unethical Fee Practices To The School Management, Vibgyor School I am writing this to express my deep disappointment and serious concern regarding the extremely distressing experience my child, Gaurik Agarwal, is facing at your school. My child is now afraid to even attend school, which is a clear indication of how unsafe and unsupported he feels. Recently, six girls physically hit my son, yet the teacher shockingly supported those students instead of taking fair action. My son is a disciplined and innocent child, and seeing him scared, stressed, and emotionally affected is heartbreaking for us as parents. In addition to this, your high and unjustified fees, along with unnecessary charges, are creating financial pressure without providing a safe or supportive educational environment. We have also faced a similar issue earlier with my niece Heyanshi, who completed her schooling from Vibgyor. When we requested her Transfer Certificate, the school demanded half-year fees payment before issuing the TC. This is unethical, illegal, and purely commercial behavior, which goes completely against the guidelines of the education department. I want to clearly mention that I am prepared to escalate this matter to the Education Minister, CBSE Board, and PMO, as these practices are unacceptable. I am also aware that several other parents wish to raise their voice against such unfair treatment and commercialisation of education. I request immediate action on the following: 1. Strict investigation and fair action regarding the physical harassment of my son. 2. Assurance of a safe and unbiased environment for my child. 3. Transparency regarding your fee structure and removal of unnecessary charges. 4. Immediate issuance of TC without forcing parents to make illegal payments. If the school fails to respond promptly, I will be taking this matter forward with the concerned authorities. Regards, Gyan Agarwal
