Customers report mixed experiences at Nailarte, with some praising the service while others express dissatisfaction with quality and management.
Worst Experience Ever – Ruined My Birthday I visited this nail salon yesterday for acrylic nails, and it turned out to be one of the worst salon experiences I’ve ever had. This is probably the first salon I’ve visited where the owner constantly stood over both the client and staff, creating pressure instead of allowing a comfortable experience. I went around 8 PM, while their closing time was 10 PM. I specifically asked for acrylic nails, but the owner convinced me to get tip nails instead, repeatedly saying acrylics are “outdated” and tip nails would be done in 30 minutes — despite charging almost the same amount. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse from there. The owner kept standing over the technician, rushing and scolding them throughout the service, criticizing their work in front of me and constantly asking them to hurry. Because of the rush, my middle finger started bleeding during the process. I was not given enough time or freedom to decide my nail shape, size, or look. I was offered barely any options and made to feel rushed while choosing. Even worse, comments like calling one shape “an aunty shape” felt highly unprofessional. I wanted shorter nails and a different finish, but everything ended up being done according to their preference rather than mine. For a salon charging premium prices (₹2098 for tip nails), I expected proper consultation and professional suggestions based on hand shape, finger structure, skin tone, and overall suitability — but there was absolutely no guidance. Instead, I was rushed into random choices with very limited shade options. The promised 30-minute service took over 2 hours, and midway they even switched technicians because someone else was “faster.” The biggest disappointment came the next day — after my very first bath, three nails had already started lifting/chipping and coming off. I returned to the salon hoping they would rectify the issue professionally, especially since I was unhappy with the shape and finish from day one. Instead of customer care, I faced attitude. The receptionist/front desk staff behaved dismissively, and although the technician seemed willing to fix things, the owner and front desk appeared more interested in arguing than resolving the issue. I was repeatedly told what they would or wouldn’t do, despite the service clearly being poorly done. At one point, while I was calmly discussing changing the shade and possibly even paying extra for nail art, the manager interrupted the service and stopped everything to say I’d need to pay ₹1299 more simply for a colour change — even though I was already dissatisfied with the original shade and quality. The owner later called and spoke extremely rudely, saying things like, “We’re doing this service this one time, don’t come again, we don’t need clients like you.” Excuse me — customers are paying their hard-earned money for a service. The least expected is professionalism, quality, and basic respect. The only positive part of this experience was Kevin, who was understanding, patient, and genuinely tried his best to help despite the situation. Thank you to him. Overall: poor service quality, rushed work, unprofessional behaviour, bleeding during service, lack of customer consultation, rude management, attitude from reception, and zero concern for customer satisfaction. Please think twice before spending your money here — especially if you expect professionalism, hygiene, proper consultation, or respectful customer service. Ruined my birthday experience completely. Pics attached you can see this is done in more than two thousand bucks.
This is the first time I'm doing my nails and I had a great experience at Nailarte. The ambience, staff were all great. Malem was my nail tech and he was very patient with me and did the task meticulously. I had a sweet experience here.
I wish I could give this place negative stars. They took 3 hours for a soak off and chrome polish. They did not have the right chrome and tried to sell me whatever, which was the polar opposite of the inspiration I brought to them. The best part is, THE EXTENSION BROKE IN 7 DAYS. My friend’s extensions survived only 4 days. They charge a lot and are definitely not worth the price. They have invested a lot in marketing but clearly, that doesn’t compensate for the clear lack of skill. 0/10 would not recommend.
I recently went to the nail salon to get my nails done. I had gone with an appointment and expected that there would be an efficient staff to cater me. Anyway, I reached on time to find, that none of the staffs were free. I waited for almost 30 mins when one of your person called someone to do my nails. This girl upon asking basic nail related questions was not able to answer it. It clearly felt she wasn't interested and just wanted to finish her work and leave. She did a shoddy work despite telling her that I'd be heading out of town for a wedding. To cut the story short, my nails did not even last a week. Started chipping off and came off just like that. The nails were not even buffed properly. They take the same amount like others in HSR after giving the so called discount and offs, but their services 0/10. Will stick to my regulars in HSR like Pandora and Nail lashes . Atleast they deliver. Pathetic, Disappointing, Shoddy!
