Bodycraft Salon, Spa & Clinic has mixed reviews, with some praising the salon services while others criticize the professionalism and quality of treatments.
I have been visiting here since more than a year, so I can give great insights. Pros- -Great salon, clean and hygienic. -Most all services that are on the 2nd floor are great and all the people who do services there have been well trained and never have I ever have to ask for just one person because everyone has done a great job. -The hair services are good also, but can be better explained and explicit. -The price is quite decent and they have great offers running. Cons- -Was a bit difficult to reach someone for appointments, but has improved quite a lot! -Time management was also difficult especially on weekends, but has improved significantly! -The clinic is beyond my understanding and once there was a free consultation happening. The doctor or whoever it was, was not very open to making me understand what they do and how she can help my hair and skin. It was like she was so bothered that I've come for free or something. She finally wrote somethings that I can do for my skin and the assistant outside took that saying she needs to make copy of it and I never saw that paper again as she misplaced it. There were things that I could have tried on there but I never went back for the clinic given this experience. The salon is great though!
1 star only because there is no option for less. If you want to be disrespected and lied to, this is the place. Bodycraft HSR is a shame for the franchise name. Had a horrible experience even after being a regular and loyal Bodycraft customer. I came in with a confirmed booking — they refused to honour it and gave me a walk-in instead. I was assigned stylist Dheeraj for a hair touch-up. He was disinterested from the start — when I asked what hair colour and brand he'd use, he disappeared, reappeared, and tried to start without telling me anything. When I asked directly if he was willing to service me, he walked out. At reception, instead of owning this, he told staff that I felt he had misbehaved and had refused service — a lie. He had walked out. I called it out to his face, and he vanished from the salon entirely. Other staff apologised. Dheeraj did not — not once. I asked for a written email acknowledgement of my complaint. Was told they were not allowed to provide one. Spent 45 minutes watching staff pretend to log my complaint — they couldn't operate their own CRM, I had to help them. Worst salon if you are in HSR, they charge a premium to make you feel like you have no value
Highly Unprofessional & Extremely Disappointing Massage Experience at Bodycraft HSR My husband and I recently booked a 90-minute massage at Bodycraft HSR, and it was honestly one of the worst spa experiences we’ve ever had. To be absolutely clear — this was not a massage. It was nothing more than a gentle oil application. There was no pressure, no technique, no proper strokes, and absolutely no therapeutic value. It felt like someone was just casually rubbing oil without any understanding of muscle work, tension release, or professional massage methods. The therapists did not feel like trained professionals at all. Based purely on the work delivered, it felt more like baby nannies applying oil to infants rather than skilled massage therapists. The hand pressure was extremely light — almost feather-touch — with no strength, no depth, and no intention. Even after clearly requesting once, and then again, to increase the pressure — there was absolutely no improvement. The pressure remained the same throughout. If a client specifically asks for stronger pressure during a professional massage, it should be adjusted immediately. Here, it made no difference. Out of a 90-minute session, almost 25 minutes were spent on head massage alone — and that too was inefficient and done with such light hands that it felt like something done to soothe babies, not adults paying for a therapeutic treatment. The time allocation was poorly managed and completely disproportionate. There was: • No structured flow to the massage • No focus on knots or stress areas • No variation in technique • No proper consultation beforehand • No check-ins during the session The experience was so ineffective and monotonous that I was literally waiting for it to end. That alone reflects how disappointing it was. To make matters worse, the post-massage shower facility was equally poorly handled. The hot water lasted barely 2 minutes before turning cold. For a premium brand, this is unacceptable. Guests should not have to rush through a shower due to inconsistent hot water. Overall, the service felt mechanical, undertrained, and nowhere close to professional standards. The pricing does not match the quality delivered in any way. We left frustrated, dissatisfied, and feeling that our time and money were completely wasted. I would strongly not recommend this branch for massage services. Attaching invoice as evidence of genuine review
I have visited bodycraft indiranagar, Whitefield and now hsr layout across past 13years. HSR layout branch has mostly disappointed me but my worst experience was on Friday, where 1 of the rooms I entered for waxing was smelling of food. There is a therapist called MERCY, females just run out of the salon if you find her to be your therapist. She was extremely unprofessional, not upto bodycraft standards. Holding and leaving my hands with jerks. There was bleeding in one of my hands. She was so ruthless in handling me. Dropped wax everywhere. I want to avoid aunty waala parlor because they sell their services. Never witnessed this in bodycraft except for hair services, but unfortunately Mercy started with selling vit c oil saying my skin needs it. I politely said it doesn't suit my skin, to which she goes like as per her knowledge it suits everyone. Then went onto selling laser treatment claiming that in her career thats the best treatment a women should go through. Constantly shouting at me to check my hands while she is waxing other hand to save time when I clearly said multiple times that I don't have my spectacles on so I can't see ,will see it towards the end after wearing specks. Then the worst experience. Went for eyebrows. She hurt both my eyeballs while threading and this has happened for the first time in 22 years of my threading journey. Then the current goes and there is no light she still wants to thread and I had to stop her risking my skin. I was so scared that I dint get my upper lips done. Then comes reception area and the manager. Few days back I witnessed them rolling their eyes and smirking at some lady complaining at reception. I still tried, though it was made to make me feel comfortable but just doesn't look like anything will change. Bodycraft HSR, you are spoiling the brand name and someone should do something about it. Once I had been for pedicure and they were not ready to switch on the ac because I was alone. The unprofessionalism, untrained staff, staff who makes faces, shouting loudly, mishandling clients. What's happening? Please ladies, dont go for this lady called MERCY, she is extremely self centered and starts debating about stuff when you ask her to shut up and stop selling products while doing other services. This is becoming like aunty ka parlor. Will never buy the package again.
