The Punjabi Rasoi

We went for dinner here. We have ordered Methi Matar Mallai, Paneer Do Pyaza, Cream of Mushroom Soup, Garlic Naan and lachha paratha. The food was average. The gravy of paneer was undercooked and tasteless. In methi matar malai, instead of green methi, they just added few Kasturi methi which was bit disappointing. Even garlic naan was ok. Overall food was disappointment considering the price they charge. If you can’t avoid the smell of cigarettes you can skip this place. It was bit suffocating and we left quickly.

Quite disappointed with the pricing here—each dish costs around ₹300–₹400, which feels unreasonable. For ₹1566 (what we paid for just a few plates for two people), we could’ve easily enjoyed a buffet with unlimited options and around 50 varieties. Punjabi Rasoi seems to have lost its charm; the food quality is just average, and cleanliness is not well maintained. It feels like the place is running more on its name than actual service or quality. Definitely not satisfied with the experience.

Perfect spot for North Indian cuisine! The butter chicken was absolutely the highlight—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish we tried, both veg and non-veg, was spot on in terms of taste. Portions are quite generous, so it's best to visit in a group; finishing a dish solo might be a challenge. Prices are on the higher side, with most starters or gravies starting above ₹300, but the quantity more than justifies the cost. Definitely worth it if you're craving authentic Punjabi flavors!

Good restaurant located in a prime location in Bangalore. Provides good north indian food. Has comfortable seating with tasty food options. Though considering the price few dishes may be on the higher side but for sure they do excite the taste buds of yours
