The Digitale Chef - Vegan Patisserie Cafe

After moving to the UK for work, I transitioned from being vegetarian to vegan. At first, it was challenging, but over time it became easier as vegan options were widely available. In India, however, finding 100% vegan food is still quite difficult, as ingredients aren’t always clearly listed. Many times, after eating, I’d be told that a little ghee was added — which shows there is not much awareness here. During my stay in Bangalore for a couple of months, I started looking for authentic vegan options and came across digital Chef. I decided to visit right away, and I’m so glad I did. The set up is really nice, felt very good vibes with a lot of greenery in a peaceful colony. It’s not on high street where you hear all the noises. Right in front of the cafe there is a beautiful park. The food was not only delicious but also of excellent quality. I could clearly sense the passion of the café owner, who shared that his goal is to provide tasty, high-quality vegan food at an affordable price. The whole wheat pizza was outstanding — you could taste the care and quality in every bite. I went with my 9-year-old daughter, who isn’t vegan, and together we tried the doughnuts, cheesecake, and choco lava. She said it was the best choco lava cake and doughnuts she’s ever had! Whether you’re vegan or not, I can confidently say you’ll enjoy the food here — because the owner of the cafe puts his heart into every preparation. If you are vegan, this café is a must-visit. The owner is not focused on making huge profits but on keeping the food accessible, so supporting him helps sustain a space that brings real value to the vegan community.

Visited this cafe with my girlfriend, bemused by its understated appearance and interesting all-vegan menu. Everything we ordered surpassed our expectations - the perfectly smooth & sweet drinks, satisfying & scrumptious main course, and uniquely crafted dessert! The cherry on top was chatting with the founder & head chef Vinay, whose authenticity was palpable and values were aligned with ours. This is something so rare to find. We even had our house party catered with all their flavors of vegan donuts and this prpved to be a great idea as they were a massive hit!

Ordered lunch. The burger reminds me of my college bakery burger - perfectly cheesy, spicy. Tastes unhealthy like a good burger should. 🙂 The cake was perfect. The delivery was on time and the founder followed up with us to ensure we got the food. The prices are reasonable. Highly recommended irrespective of whether you are vegan or not.

The vegan choco truffle cake was awesome. Pizza was also very delicious and homely. Loved it. Small and cute cafe for vegans 🌸🌸
