Si Nonna's offers authentic sourdough pizza with a charming ambience, but service can be inconsistent.
Had such a great experience at Si Nonna’s! The place truly gives off an authentic Italian vibe from the ambience to the flavours, everything felt spot on. The Margherita was an absolute standout. It’s rare to find one that nails both the texture and taste so perfectly. Definitely among the best I’ve had, and that’s saying something! Every bite had that classic, comforting balance you expect from a really good sourdough pizza.🍕 Everything else we tried was just as impressive. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely a place I’d keep going back to!
Si nonnas we order these two in pictures. One is kind of potato bites from mcain. Not hyped. And other is pizza. As per rate this size was appropriate. We ordered burrata with it. Pizza was tasty but burrata was cold so when spread on pizza. Pizza lost its taste. Had to eat pizza via fork and knife due to soggyness. Place is cool. Was nice and asthetic. I am a coffee fan but there was no normal coffee just iced one. Hence but disappointed there. Can be tried once!
Starting with the Pizza: It's fresh, authentic Napoletana pizza. Veggies, cheese, taste and meats are fresh and good on taste and flavour. The drink here need some revisiting as not much options in the menu and the ones present might not be a taste for everyone. The ambience is cosy, well lit and vibrant. Gives a great place to click some pics. The pricing is on the higher side , considering average service and store without Parking, the price is on higher side. I had mixed experience on multiple visit for the service, they either serve the food, gives good suggestions and cut your burrata or they will completely ignore you, not provide menu, wont serve, overall good place to try once, if you are only for the pizza flavour and taste.
I visited Si Nonna for dinner with my sister, and the first thing that caught our attention was the ambience. The place genuinely feels like a little corner of Italy, it's beautiful, chic, very clean, and aesthetically done. The menu felt quite limited. While the base options are very basic, most of the variety comes from add-on toppings, which quickly push the prices up. It does feel a bit expensive for what’s essentially a simple menu. The biggest downside of our experience was the service. Despite the restaurant being only half full, the staff wasn’t very proactive. We had to call them multiple times for even basic things, while most of the team seemed to be standing around chatting. Only one or two staff members appeared to be actually handling most of the work, which was noticeable. We ordered the classic kombucha and sourdough pizza No. 5. The pizza was genuinely delicious and well-made, though a bit dry to eat on its own. Ordering the dips really changed the game, the basil pesto and sumac garlic yogurt dip complemented the pizza beautifully and elevated the overall taste. Overall, the experience was decent, great ambience and good food, but the limited menu and service issues make it unlikely for me to revisit. Still, worth a try if you’re curious and going mainly for the vibe.
