Rajanna Military Hotel offers flavorful, authentic Karnataka cuisine. Customers appreciate the quick service and variety of dishes.
We sampled the mutton biriyani, mutton kurma, million liver fry, mutton boti, and mudde — everything was delicious and full of flavor. The service was quick, and we had no trouble getting seating even on a Saturday afternoon. A great spot for a satisfying meal.
Rajanna Military Hotel at HSR High Street is a classy and worth-for-money place for anyone who loves authentic desi-style food. Located right on the main road of the popular HSR food street, it’s easy to spot and always buzzing with crowd, especially in the evenings. The food here is rich, flavorful, and served in true Karnataka military hotel style. Their biryani and non-veg meals are especially satisfying with perfect spice levels and homely taste. The staff are friendly and quick in service, making the dining experience comfortable even during peak hours. One small challenge is four-wheeler parking, which can be difficult to find in the evening due to heavy rush. Overall, it’s a solid choice for delicious, traditional food at a reasonable price.
Rajanna Military Hotel, located opposite HSR High Street, is a newly opened restaurant, and we decided to give it a try. What We Tried: 🍛 Chicken Biryani (4/5) – More like a donne biryani with subtle flavors. The green gravy paired well with the biryani rice. 🍛 Mutton Biryani (4.2/5) – A naati-style biryani with flavorful, juicy rice and tender mutton pieces. Absolutely delicious! 🌶️ Pepper Chicken (4/5) – Well-coated with pepper, Garlic, with the right balance of spice and salt, making each bite flavorful. 🍗 Chicken Dry (4.3/5) – A juicy, semi-dry gravy with well-blended spices and a rich meat flavor, making it the highlight of our meal. 🥩 Mutton Dry (3.9/5) – The meat lacked flavor and tenderness, but the semi-dry gravy flavour was decent for the price. The restaurant is set up in a converted 2BHK flat, giving it the feel of a Telugu mess. The food is affordable, well-portioned, and worth the price, making it a good option for a budget-friendly meal.
Good food, hygienic, Naati taste and fairly authentic. Tried all dishes and can't pick one favourite. Everything they serve are equally good. Except for the wait time during peak lunch hours, this is a good place for non-veg meal options.
