Moti Mahal (Restaurant | Party Hall | Catering)

This is a new outlet that has shifted from a previous location in hsr. We visited because it has really good reviews. We ordered dal makhani, paneer tikka and garlic nan. The food was surprisingly delicious. The dal makhani reminded of Delhi and the paneer was also well cooked. Food was 10/10. However the seating area on the ground floor has very less seats. There is place to sit on the top floor but the ambience on the top floor is completely different. It looks like it’s a new place that’s opened and the team is still working on making it functional. The top floor had no ACs running and felt like a completely different restaurant. One weird thing we noticed was that paneer tikka was priced at 299 in the menu but the final bill had an amount of 349. The owners should check this discrepancy otherwise it feels like the customer is getting scammed.

Unhygienic. Extremely disappointing experience at this so-called Moti Mahal. The service was pathetic from start to finish. Orders were getting delayed by 45 to 60 minutes, and many customers were visibly frustrated—some even left without eating because of the wait. Staff were slow, unprofessional, and showed rude behavior when questioned. (Reply- We only have two chefs). Served cold food. Obviously overpriced too. Basic things like bottled water were not available. They also refused to pack leftover food, which either leads to food wastage or raises concerns about what happens to the remaining food(most probably serving to the next customer). Very poor hygiene and customer care standards. The hygiene situation was even worse in the washroom. It was very dirty, unhygienic, and poorly maintained. Even the handwash dispenser in the handwash area was broken, tissues next to sink(uncovered) which reflects complete negligence toward cleanliness and customer safety. The most concerning part was that customers were being pressured to leave reviews while making payment. It was obvious that many positive reviews mentioning “Kapil” seem forced rather than genuine. This makes the ratings look fake and misleading. Overall, this appears to be a fake Moti Mahal trading on the brand name with dishonest practices, poor service, unhygienic conditions, and manipulated reviews. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place. No apologies were made when raised concerns, made fun with sarcastic remarks.

I recently visited this place and had a very good experience overall. The ambience is what stands out the most—it has a unique vibe that feels relaxing and welcoming from the moment you enter. The atmosphere hits differently, making it a great place to spend time with friends, family, or even enjoy some quiet time alone. The staff were very friendly, polite, and attentive throughout the visit. Their hospitality made the experience even better, and they were always ready to help with a smile. The food was decent and well-presented. While there is still some room for improvement in terms of taste and variety, it was satisfying and complemented the overall experience well. The cleanliness and maintenance of the place were also appreciable. Overall, this is a nice spot with a wonderful ambience, friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. I enjoyed my visit and would definitely consider coming back again. A recommended place for anyone looking to relax and have a good time.

Excellent food, reminds me of the taste of original Moti Mahal Daryaganj, Delhi. Chef Neeraj and Manager Mr. Pushpa Raj were excellent. Will definitely be back.
