Gavran Misal HSR: Consistent, Authentic Taste & Kind Hosts ​This is my go-to spot in HSR for authentic Misal, and the taste is consistently excellent across multiple visits. The Misal is moderately spicy and definitely worth the slightly above-average price. Their Kokum and Buttermilk are refreshing, and they happily offer extra pav. The hosts are wonderfully kind and welcoming. Be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes for a seat during busy evenings or weekends, as the simple seating (stools/tables) isn't the comfiest. Also, finding four-wheeler parking is quite difficult, and occasionally, cooking smoke can affect the ambience despite the exhaust.

Gavran Misal in HSR Layout serves authentic Kolhapuri-style misal with a bold and spicy flavour. I tried the misal pav and vadapav, and both were really tasty and felt like true Maharashtrian food. The owner is very gentle and kind, which makes the experience even better. The place is clean, service is quick, and the hospitality is warm. A must-visit place in Bangalore if you love Maharashtrian food. 🌶️🍽️✨

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Waited 15 mins for this… and honestly, totally worth it 🔥👀 Tried Gavran Misal and the place was packed, which already says a lot. Had misal pav, vada pav and solkadhi, everything had that proper zanzanit kick and full-on authentic Maharashtrian flavour ❤️ If you enjoy spicy food, this spot is definitely worth the wait 👍

The solkadhi and buttermilk were excellent—very soothing, refreshing, and satisfying. I would highly recommend trying them. However, the missal was extremely disappointing. It lacked flavor entirely and did not meet expectations. There were no sprouts included, and the dish consisted mostly of excessive oil and a large quantity of farsan. Additionally, the rassa was unusually thin, almost like water. Overall, while the beverages were enjoyable, the missal is not worth trying and does not justify the experience.
