Great Hospitality, Spot-On Drinks suggestion & Flavourful Food Recently visited CEVI and had a wonderful experience. The hospitality was excellent, and the team’s drink recommendations were absolutely spot on each one complemented the food perfectly. We started with the Bharwan Tangdi Kabab, which was juicy and packed with flavour, followed by the Kurkure Seekh Kabab, crisp on the outside and deliciously spiced. The Prawn Koliwada was fresh, crunchy, and a clear standout among the starters. The cocktails were a highlight Guava Chilli Martini had the perfect balance of spice and sweetness, Tropical Pineapple Twist was refreshing, and the Pina Colada was smooth and well crafted. For the mains, we ordered the Classic Butter Chicken, which was rich and tasty, though the portion size felt a bit small. The Butter Garlic Naan paired well and was soft and flavourful. Overall, CEVI delivers great vibes, attentive hospitality, excellent drinks, and delicious food. Highly recommended for a relaxed evening with good cocktails and well-prepared dishes. Visiting Bangalore for the first time in 25 years and my colleagues picked this place for welcome lunch on my first day and I couldn't be happier. We all got Thali: 2 chicken, 2 veg and 1 fish. All was delicious and not too heavy. We shared the Rose Milk Cake for dessert, which was heavenly, a must-have if you dine here. Only negative is street parking only.

The most important part of experience here was the service. We reached pretty early and the restaurant was just starting to fill up as we left. The staff was very attentive, and the owner himself came out to chat with us and fulfilled our very particular request for Roomali Roti even though they have stopped, making it for a while. The crab rasam soup was amazing. Hariyali chicken tikka, Kadai chicken, naan and Roti were good too. What we didn’t enjoy greatly was the Makhni Dal, and the prawn starter. The Kundapur chicken had too much masala. Overall not a bad experience.

I liked the food here, more so the variety. We ordered several items but I personally liked the crab rasam and the parsi fish steamed in banana leaf. I found the variety unique. Bharwan chicken tangdi and cheese chilli cigar roll was also good. Kadak Roomali was unexpectedly large. I would say good job in curating the menu. I didn’t feel it was the usual menu found at other restaurants and that’s why I feel everyone should give this place a try.
