Bramha Cafe offers a pleasant ambience and authentic South Indian cuisine, but food quality varies.
Visited Brahma Cafe recently. The ambience is pleasant, the place is clean, and the overall vibe is good. However, one dish seriously disappointed me the Paneer Ghee Roast with Neer Dosa. The Neer Dosa itself was decent, but it felt like it wasn’t freshly made. It had the texture of something that was reheated rather than prepared fresh, which took away from the experience. The real issue was the Paneer Ghee Roast. It was extremely oily, with an excessive amount of ghee/oil that completely overpowered the dish. The masala tasted artificial, almost like a ready-made mix rather than something freshly prepared. Instead of rich flavors, it felt greasy and heavy. Honestly, it was one of the worst Paneer Ghee Roasts I’ve had. I would strongly suggest the management review this item or consider removing it from the menu until the recipe is improved. A good ambience can bring customers in, but food quality is what makes them return. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would never recommend ordering the Paneer Ghee Roast here.
Amazing place for some authentic food. Very good options for breakfast and lunch. Very reasonable. Very clean. Must visit if you want to taste some good quality South Indian cuisine in HSR. We tried the ghee podi idli, their podi masala dosa and kerala thali. A friend who prefers gluten free food tried their ragi roti thali. The thali was really nice and wholesome. We had their cold coffee and it was an overall very good meal. I hope to see more of this in other cities in India.
Had the Breakfast Combo at Bramha Cafe, HSR, and it was truly a wholesome South Indian experience! The combo comes with crispy dosa, soft idly, perfectly fried vada, flavourful sambhar, coconut chutney, red chutney, Khara Bath and Kesari Bath everything fresh, hot and made with pure traditional taste. I also ordered their Jaggery Pongal, and that was the real showstopper — loaded with ghee, aromatic and tasted exactly like temple Prasadam. Every spoon was full of that warm, homely flavour you rarely find these days. 😋 The ambience is just beautiful traditional yet premium. The café has elegant cow-themed wall art, earthy tones and a soothing vibe that makes you feel instantly connected to South Indian culture. It’s the kind of place where you can sit peacefully, enjoy your meal, and sip on filter coffee without any rush. Service is top-notch — staff are polite, quick, and very hygienic. Tables are clean, food is well-presented, and the whole experience feels well-organised and customer-focused. If you’re around HSR Layout, do not miss this spot — one of the best places in Bengaluru for an authentic, soul-satisfying South Indian breakfast! ☕🍽️
A lovely place with perfect music and good food.. Went for a breakfast. The place is very beautifully done up and is hygienic too. Cute pichwai paintings are done up on the wall. Ratan chairs and benches with trees around gives a very rustic vibe. Food is good.. made in ghee. Portion size is smaller for the price they charge. Dosa was nice and crispy . Mangalore buns to die for..idli was very bad..they swapped it but still was off.
