Ayodhya Palace

This is honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The restaurant was previously called Udupi Palace and has now rebranded itself as Ayodhya Palace, but unfortunately, only the name seems to have changed — not the hygiene or the attitude. I’ve visited this place a few times in the past. From the outside, it looks clean and appealing, but my experiences were never great. The staff have consistently been rude, and after a few bad incidents earlier, I stopped going there. Since they recently rebranded and it’s close to my home, I decided to give it another chance. The first couple of visits after reopening were okay, so I thought maybe things had improved. But today was unacceptable — I found an insect in my food. When I reported this to the reception, the person sitting there showed zero concern. He didn’t apologize or even acknowledge the seriousness of the issue. Instead, he casually gestured toward the takeaway counter, as if it wasn’t his responsibility. His body language clearly showed that he didn’t care. Good customer service starts with basic accountability and respect. Finding an insect in food is bad enough, but the way they handled the situation made it worse. My friends have also had unpleasant experiences with the staff before, but I didn’t realize the attitude problem was this serious. Rebranding doesn’t fix poor hygiene or bad service. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and make real improvements.

Well known QSR in the heart of HSR. Good food, quick service. I had bisibela bath and tea which were economical, filling and tasty

South Indian food was good and delicious. North Indian food is not upto the mark. We tried Pav Bhaji, Pulav, Manchurian, Aloo Paratha, Dahi Vada, Pani Puri, Dahi Puri , Palak Khichdi and most of the south Indian dishes. Manchurian was below average. pav Bhaji and Pulav was ok. Dahi Puri was excellent. Palak Khichdi was good.

Just running on the name of Udupi but no authenticity of Udupi palace. I ordered online and they sent burnt food. I don’t think their cook has any humanity left nor their quality control works. Have a look of the photos for reference.
