Anmay Restaurant offers flavorful South Indian dishes with a premium dining experience. While the food is praised, some customers find it overpriced and note maintenance issues.
We went to Anmay on a Thursday evening. It was not much crowded that time. We chose our seat and ordered a Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani and a gongura chicken pulao. The biryani was very flavourful and good in taste. It did not have masala like in Meghana birtani but the great taste from flavours contemplated really well. Gongura chicken pulao were also good. I believe the pricing is higher as compared to BLR biryani prices and I think they are taking that price because they have tried to make a premium dining experience with good interiors. But you have to maintain your place with same premium feel. The chairs have started getting dirty and require proper maintenance. Overall good food but overpriced.
Tucked away in a lively Bengaluru nook, this Andhra powerhouse delivers an authentic Hyderabadi biryani that hits all the right notes with its fragrant rice layers and robust spices. The generous portion of seer fish atop it adds a hearty touch, even if the freshness edged slightly less than stellar, the overall taste and texture still shone through brilliantly. It's that bold, layered flavor profile that keeps you coming back, perfectly tuned for spice lovers seeking genuine Andhra fire. The vibe here pulses with energetic charm, simple yet clean decor featuring earthy tones and whiffs of sizzling grills that pull you right into the experience. Staffs are shine in customer delight, tweaking salt and heat on request while plating up hygienic, ample servings that feel thoughtful and indulgent. You sense the passion in every detail, turning a standard meal into something crave-worthy. Portions pack value despite the premium tag, making it a worthy splurge for biryani devotees chasing succulent, aromatic highs. The seer fish with Chicken biryani combo stands out as a must-try, flaws aside, delivering that soul-satisfying punch. Food enthusiasts, prioritize this spot, you'll savor the memory long after.
Good restaurant in a decent place. No parking. It is in first floor, but the entrance is not so good. Once you enter inside, it is clean and well maintained. Staff is good. Ordered guntur chilli fish and chicken lollipop as starters. Both were tasty. Then ordered their special boneless chicken biryani. All items were good but a bit spicy..Lemon soda was fine..
It offers a delightful dining experience, especially for seafood and biryani lovers. Their fish dishes stand out with fresh ingredients, perfect seasoning, and authentic flavours that truly elevate the meal. The biryani is aromatic, well-cooked, and packed with balanced spices and tender meat, making it a must-try. The ambience is pleasant, service is attentive, and prices are fair for the quality. A great spot if you enjoy hearty, flavour-rich food that feels both homely and satisfying.
