Customers appreciate the quality and design of furniture, but some report poor service and product issues.
Really happy with this 6×3 bed. It feels solid, looks good, and the storage is very useful for keeping things organized. Fits perfectly in the room and the finish is neat. Worth the money 👍
Scam Alert!! My husband and I fell prey to the fake Google reviews here! Absolutely terrible product and even worse service and the guy Karim is a fraud! We ordered a queen size bed and here’s the string of events that followed: 4th Jan 2025: First store visit to RK Furnitures in HSR. Met Karim and discussed initial furniture details. Karim gave good insights on how to choose furniture for our rented house that would require recurring moves and dismantling, as opposed to furniture for our own homes. He also insisted on having a cushioned backrest for the headboard for comfort. He also mentioned his expertise in customised designs, rattan furniture, etc. He showed us all household furniture and guided us on what type of wood to use for each piece, since we intended to have all our furniture made from scratch. 15th Jan 2025: 2nd visit to RK Furnitures. Showed a bed from Wooden Street as a reference (picture1). Karim mentioned it would be made almost similarly, minus the self designs on the wood. The bed was noted to be delivered in 7 days; I paid a 10k advance for it. 29th Jan 2025: Followed up, the bed was not ready. The pictures Karim sent showed a design very different from what we requested (Picture 2). The placement of the cushions on the headboard seemed off. When this was mentioned, he took immediate offence and asked us to come to his store, promising a refund if we weren't satisfied. He said this multiple times. 1st Feb 2025: Visited RK furnitures for the 3rd time and saw the bed; asked for modifications in the cushion designs. Karim was defensive and kept mentioning that he made the bed based on comfort, not design. He insisted that if we had told him we preferred design over comfort, he would have made it accordingly, constantly pushing the responsibility onto us. He also mentioned multiple times that he would give us a full refund if we did not like it. We finally reached a consensus: he would make the cushions smaller and neater, then deliver the product. 3rd Feb 2025: Karim sent the revised pictures of the headboard, which still don't look good (Picture 3). We asked him to bring 2 options for delivery: one with the cushioned bed head and one without it. When the delivery men arrived, the cushioned bed head had unevenly cut cushions; both cushions were different shapes, which looked really bad. Even the bed has cuts and scratches. When this was flagged to Karim, he clearly stated that if we did not like the bed he would give us a full cash refund. After some altercation, we agreed to keep the bed but not the cushioned headboard; we got the alternative plain headboard instead. 22nd Feb 2025: The front board of the bed came loose and could have fallen on either of our legs at any time. It was a physical hazard, so we called Karim again to send someone to fix it. He mentioned he will immediately send help, but after repeated follow-ups through out the day he came up with multiple excuses that he will send help on Monday instead. 23rd Feb 2025: Again followed up with him and he ignored calls and messages and finally dropped him a message asking him to take back the bed and give a full refund. Upon seeing this he promised to send someone on Tuesday. 24th Feb 2025: 2 carpenters came and we saw there was internal damage. We asked Karim to take the bed back and refund the amount, upon which he started saying that we are difficult customers, that he has already done a lot, and that he does not return products after 30 days of delivery. We informed him that it had been less than 30 days since the product was delivered on 3rd Feb. He was demeaning, kept pointing fingers at us, and repeatedly lied. (Screenshots of Chats attached for 22nd Feb-24th Feb) Karim is the best advisor initially, but he takes immediate offence when you give him product feedback. He easily promises a refund but when you ask for it he creates a ruckus and spews lies. We are now left with Rs 25,000 paid for a bed of absolutely poor quality and a physical Hazard.
Scam Alert – Avoid RK Furnitures (HSR) & Karim My wife and I were misled by the fake-looking positive reviews. We ordered a custom queen bed from Karim, who initially talks like an “expert” and promises comfort, quality, and even a full refund if we’re not satisfied. In reality, the bed was badly made (uneven cushions, scratches, internal damage) and even turned into a safety hazard when the front board came loose. When we raised issues, Karim became rude and defensive, kept delaying repairs, ignored calls and messages, and then denied his own refund promises, calling us “difficult customers” and lying about a 30‑day return rule even though it hadn’t been 30 days since delivery. We now have a ₹25,000 poor-quality, unsafe bed and a seller refusing to take responsibility. Strongly recommend avoiding RK Furnitures in HSR and especially Karim – unprofessional behaviour, false promises, and highly unreliable service.
Got a great desk made by them. Great desk and delivered next day. Visit their shop if possible to get an idea about the product. Prices are good too.
