Customers report poor service and installation issues.
I purchased an AC from Croma two years ago and faced issues with it. Even after that experience, I bought a washing machine from the same store, but unfortunately it stopped working properly within 6 months. I tried contacting customer care several times, but I did not receive any proper response. Later, I directly called the store from where I purchased the washing machine. The staff answered the call but disconnected without even listening to my issue properly. It was disappointing to see employees more busy gossiping among themselves instead of attending customers professionally. However, I would especially like to thank Ms. Bandana Chhetri for her support and helpful attitude. She was the only person who listened patiently and helped me get the product replaced. Her professionalism and customer service stood out among the rest of the staff. I hope the store management improves customer handling and service quality, because customers deserve proper attention and respect.
Such irresponsible and incompetent service. The promises made before the purchase disappear the moment payment is completed. After that, there seems to be no concern for the customer, including something as basic as proper installation. If you’re unfortunate enough to receive a faulty or improper installation, be prepared for a long and exhausting ordeal. Visiting the store multiple times or speaking to several staff members does not lead to any resolution. Everyone redirects you to someone else, and accountability is nowhere to be found. To make matters worse, the technician is available only from 12 PM, while the customer support desk operates only from 3 PM, making it incredibly difficult to get timely assistance. What should have been a simple installation process turned into a frustrating and time-consuming experience.
Nice support on buying an AC balancing customer need, time for fulfillment (stock availability, delivery, installation). Shoutout to Syed in HSR Outlet who helped secure next day delivery and within 48 hrs installation.
I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with the Croma HSR Layout branch. I purchased a Croma brand AC on 28th March, and it was installed on 30th March. From day one, the AC did not work. I immediately raised a complaint and spent over a month consistently following up. After 35 days of waiting and repeated follow-ups, I was finally informed on 21st April that the unit would be replaced. I was asked to visit the store to select a new AC. I went to the store on 22nd April at 2:30 PM (on a weekday), and despite the store being empty, the manager, Aradhya, made me wait for 10 minutes and then barely spoke to me for more than a minute before saying he would follow up on WhatsApp. Any AC I would select they would say its not in stock. Instead, I was repeatedly pushed to purchase another Croma brand AC—even after they acknowledged that the previous unit was defective and despite the complete lack of service for over a month. Following this, there was no communication. The service representative, Sukanya, and manager Aaradhya, has been completely unresponsive despite multiple follow-ups. After a lot of back and forth—and dealing with extremely rude behavior from a salesperson, Sufiyan—I was left with no choice but to switch to a Godrej AC instead of my preferred Hitachi model. Even then, the team was overly aggressive in pushing me to complete the payment, which I did on 28th April. After making the payment again complete radio silence. Today is 1st May. The new Godrej AC has been delivered on the 29th but is still not installed. Meanwhile, the defective Croma AC is still lying at my place. Despite multiple follow ups again, no one—neither Sukanya, nor Aradhya, nor the store management—has made any effort to resolve the situation. Again everyday follow up again every day back forth. Still the same, no one knows what they are doing. People buy ACs for relief during the summer, and in peak summer, this has been the experience I’ve had. This entire experience has been exhausting, unprofessional, and deeply frustrating. I paid for a product which I couldn't use till date.
