I had a very disappointing experience at Clove Dental. Before booking my appointment, I spoke with customer care and clearly asked about the cost of scaling. I was informed that the price would range between ₹600 and ₹1500 depending on the condition of the teeth. I also checked with other reputed hospitals like Apollo Hospitals and Manipal Hospitals, where scaling was around ₹2000, but since there were no Sunday appointments available and doctors were not available at my convenience, I decided to visit Clove Dental. However, the experience there felt extremely money-oriented. I went only for basic teeth scaling, and I maintain good dental hygiene as I work in modelling. Despite this, the staff kept pushing unnecessary procedures like laser scaling, quoting around ₹5000 per tooth, which felt completely unnecessary for my situation. I clearly declined and asked only for normal scaling. Eventually, they performed what seemed like a very basic scaling, yet the final bill was still close to ₹5000, which was far beyond what had been communicated earlier. The entire experience felt like unnecessary upselling rather than genuine patient care. Transparency in pricing was lacking, and I left feeling disappointed. I would strongly recommend patients to confirm the exact cost before undergoing treatment. Overall, a very unpleasant and money-driven experience. ⭐ 1/5
