Apollo Clinic offers good medical care but has service issues.
I had been struggling with a persistent throat infection and recurring fever for over 1.5 months and initially sought treatment elsewhere, where there were noticeable gaps in diagnosis, coordination, and overall patient management. I then consulted Dr. Karishma ENT, at Apollo Hospitals HSR, and the difference in approach was significant. She took the time to thoroughly understand my case, conducted a detailed examination, and remained accessible even during emergency situations when my fever spiked. The tests she prescribed were highly specific and helped identify the root cause quickly, which played a crucial role in my recovery. I have now received a clear recovery plan and am finally seeing consistent improvement. It’s rare to come across doctors who combine clinical precision with genuine patient care. Grateful for the support and attention during a difficult phase. P.S: Reception folks on 2nd floor were also helpful.
⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) My experience at Apollo Clinic was disappointing, not because of the doctor, but because of the way diagnostic services were handled. During my consultation, I was advised to get a USG done at Ebisu. The clinic staff reviewed the prescription and encouraged us to make the payment through the clinic, assuring us that we would receive a 10% discount. Trusting their advice, we paid the amount requested. However, upon reaching Ebisu, I inquired about the actual cost and was shocked to learn that the direct price was almost half of what we had been charged. This left me feeling misled and questioning the transparency of the process. What made this even more concerning was a conversation I had with another patient who mentioned that she was frequently advised to undergo scans and tests during follow-up visits, often costing ₹4,000–₹5,000 each time. While I cannot verify her experience, hearing this after my own experience raised serious concerns. Healthcare providers have a responsibility to be transparent and ethical, especially when patients trust them during vulnerable moments. If educated patients can feel confused or misled by billing and referral practices, I worry about how less-informed patients might navigate the same system. I hope the clinic management investigates these practices thoroughly and takes corrective action if necessary. Patients deserve complete transparency regarding diagnostic referrals, pricing, and charges.
