Extremely disappointing and insulting experience at Mugdha Store, HSR Layout, Bangalore. I have been a regular customer of Mugdha and have purchased many sarees from this store earlier, often billing more than ₹10,000 per saree. This is exactly why the behavior we faced this time was even more shocking and hurtful. We visited looking for cotton kurtis, but since there was very limited collection, we simply checked a few sarees for around 10 minutes before leaving. At that time, the man standing there asked the woman staff member in the picture what we had purchased, and she replied very rudely in Telugu saying ‘Aindi pedda billu’ in a sarcastic and mocking tone, clearly making fun of us for not purchasing anything expensive during that visit. Customers come to browse, explore collections, and shop comfortably. Nobody deserves to be mocked, judged, or insulted based on whether they buy something that day or not. Such arrogant and disrespectful behavior from staff is completely unacceptable and can destroy the reputation of a store, especially with loyal customers who have supported the business for years. Very hurt and disappointed by the lack of professionalism and basic respect shown openly by the staff. Management seriously needs to address this attitude and properly train employees on how to treat customers.
