📍 Katha Kavana – HSR Layout Katha Kavana is easily one of the most aesthetic cafés in HSR Layout. The interiors are beautifully done — warm, thoughtfully designed, and perfect if you enjoy working out of a café. The ambiance strikes that sweet spot between cozy and productive, making it an ideal work-from-cafe setup. The food is genuinely good, and the coffee is absolutely on point — rich, well-brewed, and consistently satisfying. Whether you're catching up on work or meeting friends, the overall experience is pleasant and comfortable. That said, the pricing does feel a bit on the higher side. While the quality is good, there’s some scope to make it feel more justified — either through portion sizes or slight pricing adjustments. Overall, a lovely spot in HSR for good vibes, solid food, and great coffee — especially if you’re looking for a peaceful place to work.

This place feels like one of those places that probably had a strong cult following at one point, but unfortunately, it seems to have lost a lot of its charm now. The overall experience was disappointing from start to finish. Almost everything we ordered was genuinely bad, and nothing really felt fresh or thoughtfully made. * The fries and jalapeño shots especially just tasted like frozen snacks bought from outside and deep fried. * The coffee, matcha, and food overall were all underwhelming, with nothing standing out or feeling worth the price. The place itself also felt a bit under maintained and understaffed. While the service was still decent considering the situation, you could clearly feel the lack of staff and attention to detail. One positive is that the café is still quiet and peaceful, but that alone isn’t enough to make up for the rest of the experience. Definitely not worth visiting especially with great cafes just around.

Good interior with a delicious food. Moussaka was delicious. Ramen tasted like Maggie but not so bad. In Ramen I did not get that Umami taste. It was more like an Indian version of Maggie with vegetables. Definitely recommend the place
