Honestly, in terms of variety and presentation, I found it better than the neighboring Corner House in many ways. • The "Ideals" Vibe: As someone who appreciates the iconic Ideal Ice Cream in Mangaluru, some of the sundaes here actually reminded me of that nostalgic, rich experience. • Choice: The sheer number of options is impressive; you’re spoiled for choice if you’re looking for something decadent. Areas for Improvement: • Understaffed: The outlet seemed a bit overwhelmed. The staff was doing their best, but they definitely need more hands on deck to handle the rush. • Quantity vs. Price: While the quality of the sundaes is high, the quantity could be a bit more generous for the price point. • Basic & Fruit Flavours: This is where they lag behind brands like Naturals. Their fruit-based options and basic flavors don’t feel as fresh or authentic. • The Iranian Pista Roll: I was looking forward to this, but it was disappointingly salty. It lacked that balanced sweetness you’d expect from a premium roll. Verdict: Overall, a solid place for a family treat—especially if you’re skipping the usual Corner House routine for something more elaborate. If they fix the staffing and refine their fruit-based range, it would be a 5-star spot.

Baskin Robbins on HSR Layout 27th Main is a great spot for ice cream lovers. The store has a good selection of classic and seasonal flavors, all rich and creamy. The ambiance is clean, and the staff is polite, ensuring quick service. Their signature sundaes and ice cream cakes are a treat, perfect for any occasion. Seating is limited, but the taste makes up for it. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but the quality justifies it. Whether you’re craving a scoop of Belgian Chocolate or a refreshing fruit sorbet, this place won’t disappoint. A must-visit for dessert lovers in HSR Layout!

As an international brand, it is a little surprising that some flavours available elsewhere are not offered here. That said, the taste and quality of the ice cream are well maintained, which is appreciated. It would be great if flavours like Jamaica Almond Fudge could be added to the menu. Additionally, having pineapple fudge as a topping option would enhance the overall experience. Overall, it’s a nice place serving great ice creams with consistent quality.

I had an extremely disappointing and unpleasant experience at Baskin Robbins, HSR Layout. The staff member at the reception, who identified himself as “Samim” (after initially refusing to even share his name), behaved in a completely unprofessional and disrespectful manner. We were tasting ice creams to decide what to order. When we politely mentioned that we didn’t like one of the flavors and requested a replacement, he started misbehaving with us. Instead of assisting customers courteously, he showed attitude and arrogance. When I asked for his name, he irresponsibly replied, “I don’t know,” which clearly shows the lack of accountability and training. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in a customer-facing role. A brand like Baskin Robbins should ensure that its staff understands basic manners, customer service, and professionalism. What should have been a pleasant visit turned into a very frustrating experience. Highly disappointed. I hope the management takes this seriously and ensures this does not happen to other customers.
